Presentations:

The first presentation is by Baris Ozmen, an Insight AI Fellow and a Machine Learning engineer at LinkedIn, who will present his AutoML tool for data augmentation. Baris will share his DeepAugment package which uses Bayesian Optimization to find optimized augmentation strategies for a given image dataset. DeepAugment is designed as a scalable and modular partner to Google’s AutoAugment; it aims to enable users to optimize augmentation policies without needing massive computational resources.

The second presentation is by Ramesh Sampath, an Insight & fastai fellow and Machine Learning engineer at LandingAI, who will present his recent work with Nvidia Jetbots, AI-powered deep learning robots. He will cover Nvidia's Jetson systems and walk through the process of creating your own Jetbot and the different experiments you can do with them. He will discuss how data collection, model training, and evaluations can be done on the Jetbot and will share a live demo running on his!

Workshop:

This month’s workshop is an AI Trivia Game! Topics range from activation functions to AI memes, so make some new friends and see if your team can take home the special prize!
